The EDB range of hot air dryers, has been developed for the treatment of all non-hygroscopic thermoplastic materials.
The provide automatic, continuous cycle treatment of materials, with electronic control of air temperatures up to 140°C. The drying cycle is optimized by a system which recycles all or part of the return air, relative to the percentage moisture content of the granule.
Although these units function best when installed directly on the barret of the moulding machine or extruder, it is possible to install them at the most convenient side of the machine.
Particular attention has been paid to the construction of the hopper, to promote a homogeneous diffusion of hot air over the granules.
